So I have a sony reader and when I searched "Charlie St. Cloud" on the reader library, two books came up. One was Charlie St. Cloud and the other was The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud. They are the same book. It was originally published as "The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud. The movie is just Charlie St. Cloud. So, the movie tie ins are Charlie St. Cloud, but there is no difference in the books. I don't think there's a real difference. They just ommited the "The death and Life" part for the movie. So "Charlie St. Cloud' would be the movie tie-in, but the Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud is teh oringinal, the one the movie's based on.What's the difference between Charlie St. Cloud (the book) and The Life and Death.....?
I would say nothing. I just bought the Charlie St. Cloud one because Zac Efron's face is gorgeous, but it was an extremely good book! Definitely get it!
They are probably the same book. The movie was originally title "the Life and Death..." but they changed it.
