Relationship between atmospheric stability and cloud formation?

Hi!

Does anyone knows what is the relationship between atmospheric stability and cloud formation? I have trouble with this question :S

Thanks!Relationship between atmospheric stability and cloud formation?
Rising air is instability but the faster it rises, the more unstable (less stable) it is. The more unstable it is, the faster it condenses and clouds form. The more stable (like with high pressure) the less likely clouds will develop. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric鈥?/a>

Basically, the less stable the atmosphere is, the more likely there will be cloud formation. Stability is the amount of buoyancy of an air parcel, either to rise or fall. Thus if the air is unstable, that means the air is positively buoyant and wants to rise. If that parcel of air rises high enough then a cloud can form.
