How does the Kindle Fire's cloud based system work?

I know it doesn't have 3g but does have wifi but what does that mean to the cloud based services because there is only 6gb of usable space with no SD card. Does this mean to access music and anything else on the cloud services, you will need to be in the range of wifi? How does the Kindle Fire's cloud based system work?
Hi, Kaitlyn, you're correct that to get to Cloud space it needs Wi-Fi access. Also, accessing content over Wi-Fi will drain the battery 2-3 times faster. I wouldn't hope to be able to watch even one Cloud-based movie in full on one charge. How does the Kindle Fire's cloud based system work?
You have 6gb of local space - and pretty much unlimited cloud space. You have to have wifi access to access the amazon services - from there you can choose to download content to you local space (for exmaple you can download a movie before a tip to your local 6gb space and not need to connect to wifi again until you get back).. or you can stream the content directly from the cloud space, which requires 100% wifi access at all times to do so.

You can get a good deal on a kindle fire here:

I totally recommend it if your in the market for a tablet, since the silk browser is super fast and supports flash (so sites like youtube work great).. not to mention, with amazons library you have just about any content you could want at your fingertips, from movies/music or ebooks. How does the Kindle Fire's cloud based system work?
It makes the internet browsing faster all the things that can be done on the server will not be allocated to the kindle fire. They created a browser for this the Silk browser

For things that are stored on the cloud, yes, you'll need to be in the wifi range to use them. But I suppose you can choose what's sitting on the cloud at any given time
