Nimbostratus and stratocumulus clouds. They are generally around 6,500ft in the atmosphere.
A stratus cloud is associated with stormy, cloudy weather and covers the sky like a blanket. It is the lowest type of cloud. Fog is a form of it. Other forms are stratocumulus and nimbostratus which are variations of this cloud type.What is the lowest kind of cloud and how high is it?
