What is the long streak of "cloud" or "light" about a "arm length palm out length" from the moon?

There is what appears to be like a cloud in the sky in Pennsylvania. The cloud is illuminating light, and stretches about 1/3rd of the sky. It's about "Five fingers" away from the moon( Holding your hand up towards the sky and looking , aka , same way you find the north star. ) It is narrow, not really thick, almost looks as if a jet stream from an airliner, but it has been there in the same spot for 1 hour now. Any ideas? What is the long streak of "cloud" or "light" about a "arm length palm out length" from the moon?
It is almost certainly a jet contrail. If the atmosphere is very steady, these sometimes are almost stationary for long periods of time. What is the long streak of "cloud" or "light" about a "arm length palm out length" from the moon?
The Aurora jet is a myth:

Most likely a normal jet contrail:

Considering it is nighttime there right now, my best guess would be that is it either a slow-moving cloud that light is reflecting off of at an angle too make is seem bright. Or perhaps an arrangement of stars...even though I doubt you would be able to see the milkyway in PA.
